C1S4: What to Expect from The Redemption Project
Our goal is to make sure you have the best experience possible as an Employment Partner. We know that for many people, this method of hiring is new and with newness often comes uncertainty. That’s why we schedule frequent and purposeful communication with you and are easily accessible if something unexpected comes up.
Here’s a breakdown of what our standard touchpoints of communication look like between Employment Partners and your TRP Advisor.
Before Mentoring
Discovery Meeting [approx. 1-2 Hours]
After completing this Guide and filling out an application, we’ll schedule a meeting to find out more about you and your business’ specific needs. This helps us make sure the mentorship match process is beneficial to all parties and has the highest likelihood of success.
Mentee Recommendation Meeting [approx. 1-2 Hours]
After getting to know you better and reviewing our available TRP Fellows, we’ll meet again to present a mentee candidate to you and, should you agree that they’re a good fit, we’ll provide you with the next steps for starting mentoring.
During Mentoring
1-2 Check in Calls Per Month [approx. 15-30 Minutes each]
As you begin mentoring, we’ll periodically check in to see how things are going and if any new questions have come up. Additional calls may be added as needed, particularly at the beginning of mentoring, as you’re evaluating a job offer, and just prior to your Mentee’s release.
Into Employment
Monthly Calls Throughout the TRP Fellow’s 1st Year of Employment [approx. 15-30 Minutes each]
We are committed to ensuring that our support doesn’t abruptly end just because you’ve officially “completed” the mentoring process. We stay engaged with you and make sure things are going as intended—especially in those first few months of employment.
Although these touchpoints will likely encompass most of our communication with you, remember, your TRP Advisor is easily accessible and ready to help you via email and phone. You can expect a response within 2 business days or same day for urgent or emergency situations. Additionally, they are happy to meet with you via video conference or in-person, if needed.
We can’t say it enough, no matter the question, no matter the situation, we’re here to help!
